Jungle Magazine hits newsstands If you’re new to Jungle, this is the only dedicated scenario paintball publication that brings you woodsball news from all over the world.
Jungle Magazine hits newsstands
If you’re curious about why
the first newsstand copy is actually the 14th issue–it’s because for the
past year, Jungle was packaged as a free publication with Facefull Magazine,
the world’s top competition paintball magazine. Following the incredible
success and overwhelming support from the scenario community and players all
over the world, Jungle is now ready to launch as its own independent
publication, with a cover price of just $4.95.
Why Jungle?
If the lifestyle, equipment
and interests of scenario paintball players are so different from competition
paintball, why cover them in the same magazine? We don't. Jungle is an
independent full-blown scenario paintball magazine. It features the latest
news, gear, tests, strategy, in-depth features, and profiles, but also brings
you exclusive interviews with the most respected names in the game, and keeps
you updated with unparalleled coverage of scenario games from across the US all
the way to the UK, Russia and Asia.

Facefull slashes price Now only $5.95
Facefull magazine has always aspired to be a luxury publication. It will continue to do so in the years to come. But there's one thing we've always had a problem with: Being the most cutting-edge paintball magazine also meant being the most expensive paintball magazine… in the world. This year, and following the success of our sister publication Jungle (now sold separately), we've found ways to make it work without cutting back on our unrivalled quality. This March, Facefull sees its cover price drop 25% to $5.95, the first price change since its launch in 2001.
Facefull slashes price
Why Facefull?
If the lifestyle, equipment
and interests of tournament paintball players are so different from woodsball,
why cover them in the same magazine? We don't. Hailed as the only magazine of, for,
and by the players, Facefull's strategy has always been to be an independent
publication created with the tournament paintball player in mind. We provide
exclusive columns by the most respected paintball players in the world, as well
as celebrity interviews, tournament reports, or team profiles. But it is also
the reference publication for paintball professionals, industry specialists and
key decision makers. Facefull is proud to be a partner and sponsor of all major
international tournament circuits including the PSP, NPPL, NXL (USA), the
Millennium Series (Europe), and the only publication to cover the fast-growing
emerging markets in Eastern Europe (Centurio Circuit) as well as the incredible
success of the Asian paintball circuit (PALS). With worldwide distribution and
over 40 correspondents in as many countries, there’s not one paintball fired
without you knowing about it first.
Praise for Facefull
Magazine:
“Facefull Magazine changed the
image of paintball into a beautiful, artistic and prestigious sport. I look
forward to every new issue and I'm grateful for what the magazine has done for
the sport.”
Alex Fraige, Dynasty
“With cutting edge photography
and iconic shots, Facefull has changed the way we see the sport of paintball.
From casual to competition shots, the magazine is packed with the raw emotion
that encompasses this game.”
Keely Watson, PSP
Promotions
“I've always been a fan of
Facefull magazine. From its inception, the combination of sports magazine
quality photography, heavy glossy paper, and informative articles and
interviews raised the bar on what a paintball magazine should be.”
Alex Fraige and Encounter Encounter is stoked to have Alex Fraige, pro baller and team captain of San Diego Dynasty, back on board for another season.
The ripples made up to this point are soon to be waves as Encounter looks to expand its line of apparel for the 2008 season, keeping its focus on the players’ unique culture and extreme attitude. Alex and Encounter are blazing the trail for the casual apparel industry, putting together some sick designs to be released throughout the year.
“As one of the top players in the world, Alex has helped define the ‘paintball lifestyle’. We are excited to have him back on board as we move forward to get our sport the recognition it deserves,” announced Shane Nugent of Encounter.
The Encounter line currently includes apparel for both guys and girls offering t-shirts, hoodies, hats, beanies, headwraps, wristbands, and other accessories. Be on the lookout for the new gear to be released at upcoming events and on the website, including the highly anticipated Alex Fraige signature series.
“I’m looking forward to having another great season with Encounter
Sports. We will work together to create cutting edge products and
designs pushing Encounter into the forefront of the paintball community.“ quote by Alex Fraige, Team Captain, San Diego Dynasty
Dynasty takes San Diego After having replayed the Kansas final, Ironmen took down Edmonton Impact. There finish in San Diego did not put them in a position to take the NPPL championship this year, meaning that Dynasty win the 2007 season (the fourth winning season in four years). LA IRONMEN NXL champions It was a tough one, but the LA Ironmen took first place at the Orlando final event, over Boston Red Legion. Dynasty finished third, while the Naughty Dogs take fourth place. Due to their already high placement in the ranking, they also become championship winners for the 2007 NXL season.
Joy wins the Millennium's last event Following their abrupt departure from the NPPL, Joy Division took home first prize from Paris. They were followed by season leaders Philly Dogs while Syndicate and Phoenix closed in third and fourth in the CPL.
Intercontinental Cup It is now confirmed that the Intercontinental Cup will take place at either the first Millennium series or PSP event of 2008. The qualifying teams can only be established once the PSP, PALS, CSP, South African and Millennium Series complete their 2007 season. This event will now become the pinnacle of paintball and the goal of teams from around the world to achieve qualification as well for the following season.
