CONTRIBUTORS
Facefull is proud to be a magazine that gives
you the players' angles and views of the current situation
and events. This is Facefull's hall of fame, constantly
updated with past and present contributors who have, in
their own way made Facefull in what it is today. We are
forever grateful to have these exceptional individuals
as part of our family.

Matthieu
Chan Tsin
Played defensive back and kick returner on various US
and European football tams before being introduced to
paintabll in 1997. He moved to West Lafayette to attend
Purdue University where he is now finishing up his Ph.D.
in Medieval Warfare. He often contributes to Facefull's
profiles section and takes care of the World Book US pages,
not a small task indeed! |

Julien
Robbe
Twenty-year old Julien is a graffiti expert (he took part
in the European Graffiti tour '97) and is fresh out of
one of the best graphic schools in Europe. He spends his
free time with extreme sports (BMX, Snowboard.) so we
asked him to discover the newest and hippest one out there:
paintball. Facefull's layout artist. |

|
Damien
Thareau
Damien was hooked on Extreme Sports since his tender youth.
He is a qualified instructor of Wakeboard and Barefoot,
and was at the origin of a BMX/Skate/roller club in Paris.
Since then, he has enrolled at the service of one of the
greatest paintball magazines in the world. He has taken
upon himself the hard task of helping Facefull's US branch
and whether a hammer or a greyhound in his hand, he'll
always be there to save the day. If Mac Gyver had a brother
(or a son), his name would be Damien. |

Bill Lowry
Has been involved in paintball photography for about 3
years now. He started shooting events that his daughters
were competing in, and a long time friend of his asked
him to cover some of his team's games. One thing led to
another and he can now be seen working the sidelines at
most US paintball tournaments. When he's not shooting
paintball for Facefull magazine as one of our most trusted
eyes, he spends most of his time doing wildlife and nature
photography everywhere from Alaska to the Sierras. |

Ulrich
Stähr
A teacher at a business school and a consultant on the
side, Bonn-based Ulrich Stähr, 38, has been playing paintball
in his spare time for more than 10 years. As captain and
tactician, he has led his team Wombles to compete in most
major European events and some minor ones as well. He
will contribute to Facefull purely from a player's point
of view, as our Millennium correspondent and main European
paintball overseer. |

|
Miguel
Rosales
his photographer has contributed to the Face, Jalouse,
Crash, Citizen K, Vogue UK and has regularly been signing

Vincent
Leccia
Born in Corsica, this 30 year-old has been playing paintball
since 1997. He has been captain of the French team Tontons
Acyd. Also known as 'Scary Movie', Vince never stops telling
stories, sometimes funny, sometimes difficult to follow,
but always a big help in making us all forget that we
were always at work. He was Facefull's main layout artist
until last summer, and has definitely participated in
making the magazine what it is today. |

|
Pierre-Yves
Menier
AKA PYM, graduated from one of Paris' best micro-technical
schools. We did ask him what that meant, but he was too
busy, between his full-time job as airsmith for Camp (Paris-based
paintball store) and part-time job testing products fro
us. He's played paintball since the wall fell down, loves
'the flow' (yeah, he's one of those guys), and hates his
shedding dog's hair all over the place. Who can blame
him? |

Jack Wood
At the age of 14, Jack Wood was lucky enough to have an
uncle who started one of the very first paintball sites
in the UK. A couple of years later, he opened one of the
first paintball retail outlets. At 16, Jack joined his
first team, the Banzais and at 18, he started at Manchester
University in Mechanical Engineering and did his final
year project on paintball markers. Designing products
for Planet Eclipse, he also spent several years as the
Technical Editor of PGI. He's now on Nexus' full-time
roster and still has time to work as Facefull's technical
editor. |

|
 |
|
Romain
Maniere
With his 10-year experience, Romain was one of the first
professional paintball photographers ever. Bored with
his previous specialization (the Cannes film festival),
he was probably attracted to the long hours spent lying
in the mud, waiting for that great action shot. He contributed
to various French paintball magazines, took a few more
under his wings, until he crossed path with Edouard Pellicci,
with whom he shares the responsibility of running this
magazine as editor-in-chief. But let's clear three things
up, he was born in Troyes, yes he is 30 years old and
his favorite sport is really long boarding. |

Vladan
Marek
Vladan Marek is a 33 years old paintball player from Prague
(Czech Republic). He's been playing paintball for 12 years
and in 1993 founded PC Troja and the team Troja which
is the best in the Czech Republic (according to him).
Like many, his hobby soon became his business, and he
is now the proud owner of the largest online paintball
store in the region, www.paintballshop.cz. Do we have
to mention that he's our Czech correspondent? |

|
Daphnée
Hézard
Six years ago, Daphné left her native Monaco to become
a journalist in Paris. It was at the magazine Jalouse
that she got her teeth, writing sections on travel, film,
fashion, or décor every month. For Facefull, she reviewed
the high-tech gadgets that populate our dreams. |

 |
|
Rob Maddox
Rob Maddox Is one of Facefull's most trusted correspondent.
Active paintball player and administrator of New Zealand's
most impressive paintball website, his computer literacy
has made him contribute to Facefull magazine in unusual
ways: providing the magazine's great graphics, and taking
care of the publication's web column. |
| |
|
|
 |
|
Eric Sauvage
Eric Sauvage Has well over 15 years of professional photo
experience, having worked for Optimum, Biba, DS, Jalouse
or Dealer de Luxe. He revels in still photography, something
that keeps him grounded from the chaos of jazz music or
Polanski films, his two favorites. He signed Facefull's
Mask Story: photo issue (14) |

Fabien
Cuviliez
One of the first members of the Facefull crew, Fabien
was the World Book editor during the magazine's first
year. He now follows the Millennium circuit for Facefull
and Sup'airball. Paintball player for eleven years, he
has made his passion his work or the other way around.
He is a field operator, the Adrenaline Games' sales rep
for Europe, and has continued helping the magazine any
chance he got, particularly as our main French correspondent. |

 |
|
Fabrice
Poujade
After discovering paintball in 1994, this real Parisian
had a tough choice to make: continue on a set career path,
or branch out in the paintball industry. He didn't hesitate
a second, making sure that his work would follow his passion.
After being distribution manager for Sport Attitude and
Camp, he decided to try something else: advertising manager
for a magazine called Facefull? Traveling to the four
corners of the world to meet paintball 'aficionados' was
just his thingm as he fondly remembers that traveling
is his second hobby. |
| |
|
|
 |
|
Rich Telford
Facefull's most trusted journalist, and part of the magazine's
staff, Rich Telford has played paintball for all his life.
From the original Ironmen to captaining the LA Ironmen,
he is one of the most trusted names in the industry and
one of the most effective players on the field. He's our
official PSP/NPPL correspondent, signs Facefull's Speaker's
corner, and has been afraid of speaking his mind. We've
always appreciated that. |

|
Loïc Flament
Born November 1st 1973, under a full moon, Loïc is the
most charming of all Parisian photographers. The proofs
can be found at his feet: Asia, Sally, Jessica, Monika,
Olivia. Passionate? Definitely.. For sci-fi films. Facefull?
For the guns and the girls. Fashion? Always comes in handy
when he needs to tell a story. so watch out! Crack, boom,
flash! Loïc is here. |
